BIBLE TRUTH Concerning The Holy Spirit. "3PIR1T ' ana "Holy Spirit" are not a person, but simply the dependent power of Almighty God. As illustrated in the following Scriptures : Gen. 1:1, "The spirit of God moved upon the f ace of the water." Job. 26:13, "By his spirit he hath garhished the heavens." Job 33: 4, "The spirit of God hath made mei the breath of the Almighty hath given me life." Psalm 104:30, "Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created." Psalm 139:7, "Whither .shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy Presence?" Luke 1:35, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow'thee" — causing the birth of Jesus." Acts 10:38, "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power."
