Received Thursday, 7 p.m. LONDON, August 3. I AVing Commander A. H. Marsh, formerly Director of Medical Services, R.N.Z.A.F., has eompleted a six months' eourse in the United Kingdom and -has passed the examination for the Diploma. of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (England). The eourse included in-. struction in the latest advanees in nutrition, hygiene, public health, applied plrysiology, the international control of infeetious diseases, contx'ol of insect earriera of disease, and the modern treatment of tropical diseases. Earlier this year he gained first place in a eourse of radiologieal defence and the treatment of atomic bomb casualties.
