Hostesses on Trains
INVERCARGILL, August 1. For the first time in New Zeaiand, iiostesses ard to travel on trains in a new sei'vice to be introduced toinorrow. Tliis is a- limited express, between Invercargill and Christchurch. Elder ly people and mothers with small children, in particular, will derive benefit from the service given by the Iiostesses. There will be limited expresses eact; way 011 Alonday, Wednesdav and Fm day of each week. The new service wii reduce tlie traveliing time of the nor mai through express by an hour and ten minutes.
