Burma Fed Up With the Reds

Received Thursday, 11.45 p.m. NEW DELHI-, Aug. 3. There was no danger of Communist infiltration into Burma from China, said the Burmese Eoreign Minister, Mr. U. Maung, who arrived at Calcutta on his way to London. He added that Burmese Communists were fighting a losing battle. They had lost almost all their hold on the masses. He hoped Burma 7s troubles would be over in the next six months and a general eleetion would be held in January 1950. .
