George Medals For Heroism At Fire
Eeceived Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, August 2. George Hamill Platt and Solomon Winetrobe, each receive the George Medal for heroism in saving lives in the Glasgow fashion store fire in May, in which 13 died. They helped five women trapped in the top fioor/ I to safety along a five-inch wide ledge 55 feet ahove_the street.
