Commercial Association Farewells Member
Members of the Otaki Commercial Association gathered at the home of Mrs. Lowry on Friday night to.,say au revoir to her in view of lier departure for Lower Hutt. After a social half-hour Messrs L. G. Gimblett, H. B. Edhouse and W. McBe'th expressed the regret of fnembers at the loss of Mrs. Lowry's services and exten^ed good wishes to her. Mrs. W. Wilson, in a few well chosen words, asked Mrs. Lowry to accept a small gift in appreciation of her willing he.p.
Mrs. Lowry and her son, Mr. L. Lowry, suitably acknowledged the tributes paid, and thanked members for the gift and the consideration shown by members of the association. Mrs. Lowry left for Lower Hutt at the weekend. *
