Personal. „ ^ , Mrs. E. B. Anderson, of Patea, has been renewing acquaintances during a short visit to Otaki. Miss D. A. Leggott has returned to Otaki after an extended visit to Hastings. Mrs. T. V. Cahill and Mrs. T. McFetridge, of Otaki, _ are visiting Christchurch on holiday. Mr. C. Hook, of Otaki, following an operation in the Palmerston North Hospital, is now reported to be progressing favourafoly. Good Golfing. The Otaki Methodist Ladies Guild will be holding its annual fair on October 28. Annual Fair. Piaying in a friendly game on the Patea links recently Mrs. E. Anderson, an erstwhile member-of the Otaki Golf Club, holed her tee shot at the "Plateau," a bogey three hole.
