The motorship Vestria (55U tona) bound from the United Kingdom to New Zealand called at Fremantle today for fuel, stores and an engine cheekover, The Vestria will enter the interIsiand coastal service of the Northern Bteamship Company, For long periods qf the two. and a half montlis ; voyage from England the Vestria eneountered rough, weather ami it has been a lively passage for her complement. Oue or two engmeermg defects developed at sea. biit the engmeers quickiy reetified these, The Vestria has aboard 600 tons of phosphate ioaded at Sfax. Her master is Oaptain J. Appieton, who with Ukief Engineer A. E. Goodrich fiew from New Zealand to bring the ship to New Zealand.
