Indoor Bowling At Ohau

When the Ohau Indoor Bowling Club held its evening last Saturday, a rink skipped by E. Pilgrim was suecessful in lifting the J. G. Horn Buttons from J. Woolfe's rink. On 'Wednesday evening Pilgrim's rink met one skipped by C. Greenwood. The game resulted in a draw, but Greenwood's rink was one up in the play-off and now holds the buttons. Mrs. J. G. Horn has donated a handsome trophy to the club for competition and it has been allocated for pairs competition between husbands and wives, Mr. and Mrs. J. Frew 'have also donated a trophy which has been allotted to ladies' singles. The draw is out for both these competitions and members are urged to commence as soon as possible, as the first round must be completed by August 31.
