Mothers' League Celebrates Its Birthday

#. The July meeting of the Levin League of Mothers took the form of a social afternoon in eelebration of its 16th birthday. Mrs. W. Mudgway presided and there was a good attendance. A humorous sketch by Mrs. Bessie Ariderson was much enjoyed, while pianofor Le duets by Mesdames Allen and Routley were much aprpreciated. Floral expressions of appreciation were presented to these ladies. A lucky cup competition was won by ,Mrs. Edyvane and a lucky chair competition by Mrs. Allen. The oldest member of the league, Mrs. Thorpe, was presented wilh fiowers and best wishes for her future health and happiness were extended by the president. The thought for the month, "This above all to thine own self be true, then thou can'st not be false to any man," was given by Mrs. Perigo.
