Owing to there. b.eing insufficient sliips availabie tp.Jift in feason/ able time growers' wools plus stock wool which it was fropose'd to offer o p. behalf of the New Zealand Wool Dis- 1 posal Commission, the commission decided, in the interests of the growers, to witlulraw these stock wools from the oatalogue. Of the total ofFering, approximately 95 per cent. was sold tc i-ommerciai buyers. The offering consisted mainlv of crutchings with a proportion of earlv shorn wool which sold particularly well. There was a full and representative beneh of buyers and competitiongfor al^iwjpjpls was keen. Owing to there bej^;i#ti|&cient grades of fieece ofl'ered, it is not®possible tpsupply quotations which would give a fair indication of the market.
