Horowhenua basketball representative teams were travelling last weekend, the A team playing- ■ Hutt Valley for the PoyntonShield but being defeated 10 — 13. The following were the results of the other games: — Hutt Valley 13, Horowhenua A 10; Horowhenua B 17, Hutt Val'ey B 10; Horowhenua B 25, Wairarapa A 7; Hutt Valley C 15, Horowhenua C 6; Wairarapa B 17, Horowhenua C 5. INDOOR MATCH RESULTS Palmerston North indoor basketball teams visited Levin at the weekend to play games. Results were as follows: Men: Crackerjacks (P.N.) 18, Levin B 0; Manhattans (P.N.) 13, Levin A 12; Levin B 9, Manhattans (P.N.) 8; Crackerjacks (P.N.) 18, Levin A 10. Ladies: Scots Pharmacy (P.N.) 16, Levin A 5; Takaro (P.N.) 14, Levin B 8; Levin A "10, Takaro (P.N.) 10; Scots Pharmacy (P.N.) 25, Levin B 9. Crackerjacks and Manhattans ' gave a fast display in a sbecial exhibition game^ which the former won 15 — 9. The winners, although a younger team, -had the fitter players. b / " ; ;
