House-To-House Drive

The Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burdekin, said this morning that following a fneeting of representatives of a large number of organisations, a very satisfactory report of the support which would be forthcoming from them in regard to the forthcoming referendum on compulsory miiitary training had been made. As a result, a house-to-house drive would be made this week in an endeavour to- secure an affirmative vote, and a complete coverage of the borough ahd its environs 'was assured.
