pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that' behalf by the 'Municipal Corporations Acc, 1933/* the '-Rating Act, 1925," and all other Acts if any it thereunto enabling and all aniendments thereto, at the Monthly i Meeting of the Otaki Borough i Council to be held on August 10, i 1949, it is the intention of the ' Council to make and levy a General / Rate of 5id. in the £ for the year 1 1/4/49 to 31/3/50, on the Rateable Value, on the basis of the Un- i improved Value, of all lands in the : Borough, such rates to be due and payabie in one sum on the 13th day ; of September, 1949, and that the proposed' rates be consolidated as 1 follows: — General 5£d., Hospital • Levy Ud.; Street Lighting 3-8d.; Library l/24th di.; Catchment ' Board l/3rd d.'; Sewerage Redemption Loan ld.; and Conversion . 1 Loans Nos. 1 and. 2 — 2d., to be a 1 Consolidated Rate of 10£d. in'the £; ; i Special No. 4 Rate to be l-8d. in ' the £; and a Uniform Annual Sani- • tation Fee of £2/5/- for each pan ■ to be charged only to those proper- • ties which are served by the Sani- • tary Service.
