This earned him a handicap cut to 18— 14. Results were: P. Willis beat S. Elliott, W. D'Ath beat P. Bryden, A. Harper v^beat J. B. D'Ath,, R. Knight beat H. Derham, A. Wilson beat C. Atmore. Three matches have yet to be finalised and the^e must be played before Saturday week, when the second round ia due to be played. , Next Saturday the second round of the Dovey D'Ath Memorial will be played, with a stableford in conjunction.
