Three Injured When Cars Collide At Foxton
Three pafwengers were injured in a collision-betwoen two cars on the main highway through Foxton yesterday near, the interseetion of Russell Street and Avenue Road. They were: Mrs A. K. I Eng, Mr A. K. Eng, and Miss L. F. I Bartlett, all of Manawatu Heads, who • are now in the Palmerston North Pub-
-lic Hospital. The driver of the car containing the injured people was Mrs E. M. Bartlett wlio escaped unhurt and the driver of* the other car, whieh was travelling southwards throngli Foxton, was Mr M. L. Lane, of Palmertson North. Both cars were taken to the garage for repairs. The car of Mrs Bartlett was completely overturned with its back resting 011 two empty drums on the corner of the road. Mr Lane escaped injury.
