Bartlett wlio escaped unhurt and the driver of* the other car, whieh was travelling southwards throngli Foxton, was Mr M. L. Lane, of Palmertson North. Both cars were taken to the garage for repairs. The car of Mrs Bartlett was completely overturned with its back resting 011 two empty drums on the corner of the road. Mr Lane escaped injury.
