Test Match Boosted Power Consumption
It was difficult to state at the moment an increase over a certain period of thfe day or night, but the power eonsumption last Saturday had exceeded that of the previous Saturday by from 2000 to 3000 units,. said the Horowhenua Power Board's engineer, Mr. J. F. Bryce, when asked b ya member of the board at yesterday's meeting if the first rugby test match in South Africa had affected power eonsumption in the board's area.
