Received Sundav, 11 p.m. LONDON. July 17. An area of half a square mile in the heart of London near Euston station, was evacuated 'last pight as a bomb disposal squad prepared to remove " Yan AYinkle, " a 2500 lbs. unexploded bomb from a partly demolished build- ; ing in Tottenham Court Road. The bomb, which was dropped in the London blitz of 1940, is near one of London 's largest hospitals. Apart from soldiers and police, the only people left in the danger zone are 5S patients too ill to be moved and a handful of doctors aiul nurses. TTie R.S.P.C.A. evacuated all cats and dogs and a small army of railway and G.P.O, engineers I is standing by to repair rail and telei phone equipment if the bomb explodes.
