Received Monday, 9.25 a.m. ' LONDON, July 17. At least 38 native girls were ouried alive today when a wall of Ghe Catholic Mission of Michael Archangel, at Lourenco Marques^ caved in on them. Several other girs are missing. Rescuers recovered 11 bodies this afternoon and saw several others oefore a further fall of rubble hi$ them again. . i The girls, aged between 16 and 20 years, were preparing for the wedding of a friend. Priests and nuns of the mission had to cairn the natiye villagers, who said that the accident was caused by enemies of the bride and groom.
