Mr. Oram Asks About Dundalk Bav
WELLINGTON, .Tuly 13. • A full investigation into all circ.umstances surrounding the bringing out of displaced persons from European countries in the -Dundalk Bay was asked for to-dav in the House of Bepresentatives when Mr. M. H. Oram (National, Manawatu), addressed a question to the Prime Minister and asked that the report be made to Parliament. In a Note attached to his question, Mr. Oram said: "It is reported that conflicting aceusations had been made from either side, some of the passe.ngers compjaining that the acconimodation, food and attention were completelv inadequate in vie.w of the amount eharged for passage monev, and some of the ship's ofScials alleging that the personal habits of some of the passengers were sueh as to make them most unsuitable as immigrants."
