WELLINGTON, July 1>:> During the 24 years of its existence the Women 's Division of Eederated o-fnnrf1S °f Zealaad; h^s grown to -3,000 members. Those members are represented by 500 of their number at the Dominion conference of the union bemg held in Wellington. In reaffirmihg the division 's loyalty to the Eederated Farmers organisation, tiie Dominion president, Mrs J. 1{. Haldane, in lier annual report presented at the opening of the conference to-night said that never more than at present when the ery was "more food and more production," was it necessary that the women should give their menfolk on the land wholehearted support Described as the "kernel" of its work, the housekeeping scheme of the division was giving help in many needy cases m spite of difficulties, stated Mrs Haldane. ISo effort to fmd suitable women for housekeepers had been spared and it was now planned to bring from England specially chosen women who pW01n\aS housekeepers for the vv.D.f.F Jhese women, chosen and sponsored by the division, would ' be guai'anteed full accommodation and employment for at least two years.
