WELLINGTON, July 8. . As the liner Dominion Monarch's engines have been giving about 1921 knots instead of the usual speed of about 25, two special engineers have been sent by an Engli&h engine building firm to attend to them. This was stated today by an official of the Sh^w Savill and Albion Company, who added that there was nothing serious and it ' was expected soon to have the en- > gines back into form.
