Wynn Hess.e, was " that a change be made ih the des.gnation of the "final judging" to "group judging." It was seconded by Mr. A, B, Robinson (Education Board) and, following a brief' discussion, was earried. Mr. Hesse said that although the board recommended t'his aotion, it wohld. not insist upon it. The remit was merely to bring the designation in iine with that observed in othgr areas, It was resolved that preliminary judging Start this year at Manahau •' on Monday, November 14, and Lhat other - schoo s follow on! in practicady the same order as last year. • The group judging iyill be held at the Levin Schotii on Friday, DecemCer 9. It 'was decided to issue medals ■ and ribbons, a,s was done last year, and in additiqn onq modal to each school for the garden competition and ribbons for the year.in'g com-pe-itions at the SC'hOOls, • As it was some time since circulars had been prjnted in full, it was agreed that they he reprinied and the secretary was advised to make such alterations. as were necessary to bring them up-to-date.
