They were: — Miss J. M. Cornwell, Hawke's Bay, 'S.Tsecs. for the women 's 75 yards. E. P. Hills, Auckland,, 10.2secs. equal to the junior 100 yard's record. :: M. J. Curotta, New ' South Wales', 21.3sees. 'for the 22Q. yards. ? ' N.. Grinter, Waikator lS4ft 9Jins^ for the junior javelin throw. An application by Miss S. Strickland, Western Australia, for recognition of her time of 8.6secs. for the women 's 75 yards, was held over pending compliance of the watch-testing requirements. Her performanee was put up in Otago on February 26, one week after" Miss Cornwell 's run of 8.7secs. in Hawke's Bay.
