He moved that the expenses for hiringa bus, amounting to £2 10s, be paid by the defaulting team. There was no. seconder to this motion. The Otaki delegate, Mr. E. J. Cook, said that the game had been drawn for the domain, but just before noor* the town clerk at Otaki had nntified him that the game could not be played there owing to bad weather conditions. The game ha'd heen changed to the "racecourse at Ihe last minute. Half the Otaki team had gone to the domain and half to the racecourse. The- players at the domain had later gone on to the racecourse, but Old Boys had turned up just after this and by the time ./they learned '' the -venue had been changed it was too late to play the game before the main match began.
