NAP UNDER THE TREES.
LONDON, July 4. During the weekend tlie New Zealanders were the _guests of the Duke ancl Duchess of Beaufort at Badminton where tliey watched a match between the Duke's eleven against G. O. Allen's (iloucester County eleven. Rabone and Mooney played for the -Duke's team while the remainder of the New Zealanders enjoyeil a nap under the trees for it was oue of the sunuiest of a long series of hot days. After the game, won by the Duke 's eleven," there was an open air service and his Grace showea several New Zealanders over the property. It was here that Queen Marj stayed during the war. This morning opportunity was taken of seeing the giant Brabazon, oue of Britain 's biggest aireraft. Rabone who retired through the heat while playing for the Duke of Beaufort 's eleven, will continue against Gloucester today. The New Zealana manager said Rabone was quite fit. It was only a headache he had. Rabone was early reported to have sulfered sunstrolce.
