CAR IN STREAM DRIVER SUCCUMBS
{ -■'• ' INVERCARGILL, July 4. !"• A"-car left the North Roa'd at 4.45 i p.m. today and crashed through the j railiug into the Waikiwi fStream, becoming completely submerged. The driver was • , ALEXANDER WYLLIE RODGER, aged 76, retired, of 29 Alice Street. Artiliciai respiration was unsuccessful and Mr. Rodger was dead on arrival at hospital. The cause of the accident is unknown.
