THE XF-90, new heavy penetration fighter of the United States Air Force. Combining speed, range, and manoeuverability, the swept-wing, needle-nosed airplane is designed to operate against air and ground targets. It is powered by two turbo-jet engines, is 55 feet long and 15 feet high. It has conventional landing gear, incorporates a pilot ejection seat, and is equipped with cabin pressurisation and air-conditioning.
