NAPIER, June 28. Fourteen properties we?e balloted for by 300 returned soldier applicants at Napier to-day. About 120 ex-servicemen attended. Successful ballotees were: — Hekearini settlement (five sectious) : J. T. Irving (Tolaga Bay), R. B. Fraser (Gisborne), T. Dailey (Onga Onga), R. A. Boyle (Waipukurau), T. Jenkins (Waipawa). Mason Ridge settle nient (two sections): A. J. Eastwood (Masterton), L. A. Welcli (Masterton), Gowry farm settlement (f our sections) : D. A. Kennedy (Maraetotara), P. N. Arnott (Hastings), J. Simcox (Puketitiri), R. W. Gibb (Canterbury). Kokomoko farm settlement (two sections) : W. A. Henderson (Taradale), W. Patterson (Ormondville). Oue section from Mr and Mrs H. M. Glaze brook, Maraekakaho: E. R. Newdick (Maraekakaho).
