GREYMOUTH, June 27. The price of coal throughout the Dominion is to be increased by 2/6 per ton at an early date, according to information, received in Greymouth today. It is understood that the increase w%ill coincide with the increase in wages granted to all employees in the mines. The wages increase will be 2/6 per day irfespective of the eniployee's status. Miners are not under the Arbitration Court, having separate working agreements and the wages rise has been granted as an equivalent of the recent general

wages rise by the court. As the rise is based on a five-day week, it will mean a net increase for miners of 12/6, which is more than the i court increase in most cases, &
