Barton's Follies
Some indications of the respect with which Barton's Follies, which will show in Otaki on July 4, and in Levin on July 5 and. 6, is held by those . in the show business themselves can be gauged by the fact that one of the directors of Wirth's Circus, which was leaving Napier at the same time as Barton's Follies were opening, told his audience to be suxe to patronise this entertainment, as they knew that they put on a first rate show. There are few vaudeville showS that can draw the public for 10 nights on end continuously in a town of 18,000 people, but Mr. Barton has gathered round hini some outstanding performers to back up his enterprise. Mr. Barton wishes the public of New Zealand to know that Barton's Follies are on their own and not associated with any other organisation of any kind. It is a brilliant company of vaudeville artists and speciahsts and has drawn crowded theatres wherever it has appeared. There will be a pantomime, "Cinderella," at Levin on July 6 at 3.30 p.m. The panto. starts promply on time and runs throUgh to 5.30' p.m.
