Hall Committee At Ihakara Has Busy Year
When the annual meeting of the | Ihakara Hall Committee was held 1 this week, a year of much activity 1 was reviewed. It was stated that i the hall had been enlarged, new j school and supper rooms built and I |a new floor laid in the hafi. The I rcost of this work had been in the i 'vicinity of £900. The painting of ! the enlarge'd building was now in I progress, working bees undertaking | the task. | Officers for the ensuing year I were elected as follows: — PresiI dent: Mr. J. B. Collett; vice-presi- | dent: Mr. W. Boddy; secretary- ! treasurer: Mr. G. Armstrong; gen- [ eral committee: Mesdames- W. E. I Turner and R. Butt and Messrs R. I Butt, W. E. Turner, W.
