World-Wide Canadian Strike Settled
LONDON, June 24. The Canadian shipowners have agreed to accept the conditions for ending the worldwide strike of Canadian seamen, it is announced in London. The conditions included, firstly, no victimisation; secondly, all eharges against striking crews to he dropped; thirdly, crews to work at the same • wages and conditions as existed prior to the strike.
