Buller Miners To Resume Work Today
i WESTPORT, June 23. Work in all Buller mines will be resumed tomorrow after a four-day stoppage due to a claim by mine deputies for pavment for days not workeu during the recent period in which nu doctor was available in the NgakawauStockton area. A meeting of deputies this afternoon agreed on the terms for the settlement of the dispute, proposecn by the Mines Department,1 the matter to be further discussed with the UnderSecretary for Mines, Mr. C. H. Benney, on his next-visit to the district. Production lost-during the stoppage was approximately 1800 toiis a-day.
