Only A Week Remains To Register Vehicles
With only a week to g© bef ore i the new registration stickers musc be displayed on all motor yehic es, the Lgvin Post Office reports that there are still 900 registrations to be repewed. Up till this morning 1165 vehicles had been re-register-ed. -* ' ; The position is considerably improved from that of the same; period last year, but there is still a! possibiiity bC queues and delay if! motorists do not make an early call at the post office an'd attend to the registration of their vehicles. The Automobile Ass.oeiatioja, Which handles registrations for its memhers as part of its seryice,, would appreciate early cal's also,1 as the local officer and his staff have a particularly heavy task in completing ' the f orms and a last day rush might mea% disappointo ment for some. All vehicles must have the new registration stickers affixed by next Friday and the Transport Department' will be right on the job to see that this requirement is met.
