Communists' Views On R.S.A. Membership

WELLINGTON, June 22. Delegates to the R.S.A. conference fo-day expressed certain misgi-vingR about the previous decision to hear in open meeting, the views of two members of the Coramunist Party on the issue of fexpelling all Communists from inemltership of the association. | "If in 193S we had invited a gestapo representative to address us, he would have received a very short shrift," said one delegate. Others suggested that the Communists i were laughing up their sleeves at the E.S.A. for allowing them to have the platform for their views. Finally a motion was passed approving the president's aetion in inviting Communist representatives to address the meeting. The president, Major-General, Sir Howard Kippenberger, then announeed that the .two speakers would be Messrs V. Willcox and >S. Scott (Auckland).
