All Ready For National Ball Tomorrow
A highlight of the winter dancing season will be the National Party ball, which will be held in the Regent Hall tomorrow nlght. Always a popular event, this function is expected to excel those of other years and much work and organisation has gone into the arrangements. The leader of the National Party, Mr. Holland, and Mrs. Holland will be the offlcial guests, together with Mr. J. J. Maher, M.P. for Otaki, and Mfs. Maher. This will be the first public function in the hall since the renovaitions were begun and many ad'ditional facilities will be available in consequence. A feature will be a sit down supper in the new supper room. As in the past the presentation, of debutantes will be the highlight of the evening. The committee has arranged e'aborate decorations for the ha1!. In view of the large number who will be in attendance the committee requests that all those not dancing remain clear of the dancing space. Those who have not yet obtained tickets are reminded that they can be procured at the door tomorrow night. „ •
