Reeeived Sunday, 7 pjm. NEWCASTLE, June 19. . Playing at Newcastle, the Maoris defeated New South Wales 11—9. For the Maoris Oouch and Heperi scored tries, Taylor converted one and Kenny kicked a penalty goal. F.or New South Wales D. Brockhoff scored and Allan kicked two penalties, - , Four thousand witnessed the game. • Play was eventful, the Maoris cleverly using internationdl rules to gain ground and serum advantages.
