NEW ZEALAND TEAM MEETS DUKE OF EDINBURGH
Received Monday, 10 a.m. LONDON, June 19. The Duker of Edinourgn, who is president of the M.C.C., was en-thusiastica-lly received on June 19 when he attended the cricket match between East Molesey Club ahd the Jfiew Zealandfers at East Molesey. The players were presented to the Duke after tlib luncheon interval. The Duke's equerry, Lieutenarit Parker, R.N., kept wicket for the home club. The New Zealandfers beat East Molesfey by one wicket. Result — East Molesey, five for 241 fleclared (Edwarfls 65, Alley 58, Cohstable 50). New Zealand, ninfe for 242 (Reid 70, Wallace 45, Rabone 44). George Tribe took six wickets for 54 runs. The winning hit came in the last over of the day, when Cave and Scott were together. Each side made a century opehing stand, Rabone and Reid seoring 119 in 68 minutes. Alley, the former New South Wales batsman, hit 13 fours in his 58 for East Molesfey and Tribe, another Austraiian, tobk the bowling honours.
