WELLINGTON, June 14. 5 TMrteen exeited -girls, finalists in'.the "Miss New Zealand" quest, were t>veaent today at the Prirne Mixiister's farewell to Sir Patrick and Lady DufT in the social hall of Parliament Buildings. The girls were escorted by the quest 's executive director, Mr. K. W. Kilpatrick. At the 'Town-Hall they were welcomed by:the Beput'y-Mayor, Cr. R. L. Macalister, The chairman- of directors of the "Miss New Zealand" quest, Mr. J. A. Manson, replied on behalf of the finalists. After luncheon given
by the Home Servicemen's Association the judging was resumed. Tonighi there was a formal dinner party wiih the judges. Tomorrow .the girls will spend with the judges, followed ' by n tea and danee given in their honour. bv the Wellington branch of the Air Forc Association.
