WELLINGTON, June 14. Increases in the rates of wages payable to agricultural workers employed by dairy farmers, were announced to- 1 day by Mr McLagan. The new rates, which operate from June 1, range from j £2 16s 3d weekly for workers under 17 • to £6 6s 6d to workers 21 and over. Where board and lodging is not provid | ed, all ratqk will be increased by 25s i weekly. The 'new minimum hourly rate for casual liarvesters is 3s 5d with ra j tions, for other workers found 2s lld and for other workers not found 3s 5d. ! !
