BIG CHANGES IN N.S.W. TEAM TO PLAY MAORIS
SYDXEY, June 9. The Xew Routh Wales Rugby Union has omitted the Wallabies, C. Eastes and B. Piper, from the Xew Routh Wales team to play the Maoris' at Xew 'castle on June 18. Motions to defer the selectiori until after the seeond Test were defeated. Pi]>er is replaeed as full-baek by W. Bardiner, of Xewcastle, and Eastes as let't wing by J. Rolomons, a member of the Universitv team which has just returned from Xew Zealand. Four Universitv men, Blomley, Brockhoff, Solomons, and Emerv are now in the Xew South Wales team, "which is as follows: — Fullback, ' Gardiner; threequarters, J. Marshall, T Allan, J. Blomley, J. Solomons; live cighth, X. Emerv or J. Cremin; half.; P. Burke; forwards, G. Windon, A.; Buchan, D. Brockhoff, P. Hardcastle, X. Rhehadie, E. Tweedale, D. Furness, J. Baxter. ; A feature of the seleetions is the return of the Yfallaby forwards Buchan and Hardcastle, who were omitted from the Test teams.
