Generous Donation To War Memorial
The Mayor, Mr. C. F. Atmore, reported to the Otaki War Memorial Committee recently that a cheque for £175 had been received as a donation towards the War Memoriai from Otaki Textiles, Ltd. The amount represented the proceeas of the firms recent opening bail. The Mayor's announcement was greetea with appiaus^, several speakers endorsing the remarks of ,ne chairman that the ellort was a spiendid bne and deserving of the utmost credit. ■ - -- .
