Mr. Boswell Coming Back From loscow
WELLINGTON, June 7. The New Zealand Minister in Moscow, Mr C. W. Boswell, will be returning to the Dominion after the completion of his second term of -appointment which expires next month. This was announced to-night by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser. He said this decision by the Government was in aecord with Mr Boswell 's own wishes. For the time being the legation would be carried on by Mr D. P. Costello, first secretary, as chargo d'afiaires. The Prime Minister stated that >uring the five years he had been in Moscow, Mr Boswell had carried out a difficult task with nnfailing New Zealand devotion to duty. His contacts with his fellow diplomats and with the representatives of the Soviet Union, had alway» been friendly and useful. By his investigations and reports he had capabiv and accurately interpreted to the New Zealand Government the policy of the Government to which he was aceredited.
