Russian Assistance Sought In Breaking Railway Strike
Received Tuesday, 10.7 -a.m. * BERLIN, June 6. The Associated Press reports that the Americans asked the Russians today to reroute strike-bound goods trains for West Berlin into Soviet sector yards for unloading. At the same time they made it clear that no Four-Power Agreement on trade and transport could become effective while thie strike of Berlin's 14,000 anti-Communist railway workers continues.
