"The Licensing Committee notes that cpnvictions for breaches of the Licensing Act have been recorde4 during the year against several licensees and although all applications have been granted on this ocT casipn, the police not objecting, such a f act must not be interpreted S:s indicating that the committee lightly regards such eonvictions," ;aid; Mr. J. R. Herd, S.M., chairman of the Wairarapa Licensing Committee, at the annual meeting.
