WELLINGTON, May 31. Congratulations on the rap.id growth and progress o'f the " New Zealand Male Nurses'. .Society since its inceptjon in June,- 1-947, was-ex-oressed at the society's second annual conference today by the Minister of Health, Miss Howard. There were now 66 registered male nurses and others under Taining, the Minister said, and there was a very defihite place in the modern hospital fpr their services. Four training centres in Auckland, Palmerston North, Wanganui and Christchurch " were established and recognition of male nitrses in air force and naval hospitals had been arranged after a six months' course at hte training schools.
