FJOTICE IS HEREBx GlViLiN that at a Special Meeting of the Horowhenua County Council held on Wednesaay, May 11, 1949, a resolution by way of Special Order as under, was passed: — Authorising the raising of a loan of £1650 under the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, for the purpose of- redeeming at maturity the balance of a loan of £3300 borrowed for water supply purposes. Currency of the Loan ten years. Interest 3|- per centum per annum. Loan together with interest thereon to be repaid by equal agureeate half-yearly instalments extending over the currency of the Loan. Security for the Loan is a special rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny (9/16d) in the pound on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Waimeha Township Water Supply Special Rating Area in the County of Horowhenua. A copy in full of the resolution is deposited at the Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin, for public inspection during office hours. The resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 1949, in the Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin. F. H.
