Personal Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Tews, of Tasman Road, were weekend visitors to Pahiatua. i Miss P. Mortiboy is on holiday from New Plymouth, visiting her parents in Waerenga Road. Mr. and Mrs. W. White and Mrs. W. and Mr. G. Anderson, of Lower Hutt, were weekend guests of Mr. ■ and Mrs. J. Fogden, Tasman Road; Card Evenings End. A series of six card evenings arranged by the Otaki Band was concluded last week. Aggregate winners were Mrs. R. Bills and Mr. G. Meads." Winners during the evening were Mesdames P. Cootes, R. Young, a visitor from Hunterville, H. Arcus and H, Grant, with Miss M. Bills the successful entrant in a competition.
