Public Notice of Proposed Sanction For Application for Loan. f\JOTlCJii is nereby given that the Horowhenua Electric Power Board proposes at its meeting to be held on June 15, 1949, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing without a poll under Section 15 of the Finance Act 'No. 2) 1936, the sum of £70,000 for the purposd of reticulation and extending energy in its area. As security for the said Loan it is proposed to strike. a rate of l/6th of a penny m the £ on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Board's £>rea. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing not later than the day pre-Ci-ding the said meeting. T. G.
